Daveed's lowers some menu prices
Daveed's in Mount Adams is a fine-dining restaurant that is often the top of people's list of where to go on special occasions. But now, 10 years after opening, David and Liz Cook are making a few changes to the restaurant that they hope will make customers feel comfortable coming more often. Most importantly, they're lowering their prices. You'll still find scallops, foie gras and lamb chops on the menu. But they're cheaper. Appetizers are $7-$9 (or $22 for foie gras with lavender ice cream.) Entrees, such as slow-cooked salmon with leeks red wine mushrooms and horseradish, are $21.
